The candle wick scissors are bent at a 90 degree angle, making it simple to trim the wicks of pillar candles or candles in jars or tins. 
A triangular notch in the blade of the candle wick cutter keeps the wick in place to ensure a clean cut. 

The slim, angled design allows you to easily trim wicks without getting you fingers or hand filthy with black soot, or struggling to get the proper angle with standard scissors. 

Note: for best results when burning candles, it’s recommended you keep wicks trimmed to a quarter inch height.
